From the beginning of the 21st century it’s been normal and even traditional for white youth to take something blacks created and denounce blacks at the same time. Minstrel shows are good example of this. Every generation it’s the same thing. White kids start copying blacks and then it’s blacks “ruining our youth” and “blacks need to toss that (insert music/fashion/slang) if they’re ever going anywhere”. Why do white americans do this? White europeans don’t and rarely do other cultures. Why is this so pervasive in white american culture?
